Today yachting is becoming more popular in Belarus. This is not surprising, as the possession of a private court opens new horizons of possibilities and makes the stay more unforgettable.

According to the Director of the centre Gennady Dovnar-Zapolsky, all yachts registered to date, in Belarus, the Russian or Polish production.

- In Belarus there is no production of ships of this magnitude, so all yachts, as a rule, are imported either from Russia or from Poland, - said the Agency interlocutor.

He also noted that over the past two years the popularity of sailing has increased significantly.

- I think our countrymen have impact on foreign resorts, so there is now a desire to be able to organize the rest of the same level at home without having to travel outside Belarus, so the demand for boats is growing significantly, says Gennady Dovnar-Zapolsky.

He also said that many former sailors from Belarus are now working abroad, engaged in teaching, however, information available to Belarusians vessels in foreign waters in the centre to date, no.
