In Odessa will create a Museum of the history of yachting
"Black sea yacht club" intends to create the Museum of history of yachting in the area of Otrada beach. This was announced by the Chairman of the Council of the state enterprise "black sea yacht club" Mikhail Petukhov.
"This idea was hatched for several years, but only now we can proceed to its practical implementation. The Museum will include primarily unique historical documents relating to the 19-20 centuries. Unfortunately, few people know that the beginning of the 20th century Odessa was a one of the largest yachting centers of Europe. We had two of the yacht club - Imperial black sea, and Catherine, the flag which went to the yacht world level", - said Mikhail Petukhov.
He stressed that the history of Odessa yachting "a very rich and interesting", and it must be preserved.
